Takedown Radar

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Takedown Radar (the “Service”), operated by Takedown Radar (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and access

The Service is currently offered as a closed beta and requires a valid signup code to register. You must be at least 16 years old to use it. You are responsible for anything done under your account.

2. The Service

Takedown Radar monitors URLs that you submit and attempts to detect when a page has been deindexed from search engines following a copyright takedown notice, notifying you when it detects a change.

3. No guarantee — best-effort monitoring

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that every deindexing or takedown will be detected, nor that alerts will be timely, complete, or accurate. Detection depends on third-party search data that is outside our control. You should not rely on the Service as your sole means of monitoring, and we are not liable for any missed, delayed, or inaccurate alert. Nothing in the Service constitutes legal advice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • submit URLs you are not authorized to monitor;
  • use the Service to harass, infringe, or violate the rights of others;
  • attempt to overload, disrupt, probe, or reverse engineer the Service, or use it as a relay for bulk scraping;
  • use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@takedownradar.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

6. Plans, billing, and refunds

Paid plans may be offered through the Service. When they are, payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller for your purchase; your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
  • Prices may change; we will give notice of changes before they apply to your next renewal.
  • Refundsare handled in accordance with applicable law and the merchant of record’s policies. Contact support@takedownradar.com with any billing question.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Takedown Radar and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of the data you submit.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Takedown Radar will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from missed, delayed, or inaccurate alerts or from your reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Takedown Radar harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by applicable European Union law and the laws of the member state in which Takedown Radar is established. For any question about these Terms, contact us at support@takedownradar.com.
